Cell Phone VS The Bible

(got this from another blogger, and I don't think she'd mind if I shared it here:)

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we
treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go......hmm.......where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing.
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being  disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.
Makes you stop and think where are my priorities?
And no dropped calls!

Have a blessed and wonderful day!

  1. I still don't have a cell phone, but I do take my Bible in my car just in case I have a few minutes waiting on kids during their assorted activities to read it. I'm amazed in spite of this how hard I have to work to "make time" for what should be the priority of my life! Good thoughts for reflection.

  2. Hi, I just found your blog through a comment you left on Heather Spohr's. I hope you don't mind if I share this post with a few people. I wouldn't be surprised if this is something we end up seeing in our email inboxes over and over again through the years. I loved it!

  3. Feel free to share -- I borrowed it from someone else's blog. I figure, this is the kind of post that people don't mind if you copy and forward on. I think it's meant to be shared :)

  4. Hi Katrina! So fun to hear from you on my blog. :) This was a great post. Really makes you think.

You have a beautiful family. Nine kids! No wonder you don't have time to scrapbook (I'm impressed to see you blogging!). Amazing!
