Vrooom Vrooom!

 I sent the kids out to the backyard to play a bit while I cleaned the kitchen, and when I kept hearing "Vrooom  Vroooom" sounds from them, I went out to see what they were doing that required them to make that sound..... and, well, this explains it:

 This just cracks me up.  Where do they think they are going?

Halloween

Carving the Pumpkins!

We love carving our pumpkins every year! We do this on the day of Halloween, about an hour or so before we all get dressed in our costumes. It's messy, but so much fun!

November 11th -- Happy Birthday, Maddie

Today we celebrate Madeline Spohr, who would have been two years old on this day. My heart breaks for her parents. They miss her so much!  Last year, on her first birthday, Maddie enjoyed a cream puff. Her parents planned on giving her a cream puff every year on her birthday. I'm hoping that she is enjoying the most glorious cream puff in Heaven right now!    In her honor, we had cream puffs after dinner tonight.
