Aria got her first top tooth today!! The other tooth is coming through any day now, too. I can't believe she's getting her top teeth already!

I guess it is that time...since she is 8 months old now.

Once those top teeth come in, it changes their face a bit...into more of a toddler face rather than an infant face. So I'm a bit bummed about that, because well, truth be told...I just want to freeze time right now with Aria. She's so darn cute, and so much fun at this age. I am enjoying her so much!

I know....I need to post some recent photos of her. I will soon!

But here is what she's doing lately:

--crawling up the stairs
--crawling in a perfect cross pattern
--sitting and playing quietly with various toys and objects
--falling asleep in the car as soon as we start driving
--eating babyfood
--sleeping in her crib for up to an hour (I know, I know...she's so spoiled, but I love her in my bed and so she really only sleeps soundly with me next to her -- all my babies start out this way, so I'm not concerned. They eventually leave and sleep in their own beds!)
--babbling and making noises at us to get our attention
--bounces to music
--giggles when people do "peek a boo" at her
--smiles whenever she sees her mommy!
--plays alongside her siblings (will just sit next to them and join in)

I miss them :(

I finished the 4th book of the Twilight series last week. All I can say is....

I totally miss all those guys!!

I must have walked around for about 2 days in a complete "Duh..." mode. I just didn't know what to do with myself. I was still in Twilight land, you know...and I just wanted my Cullen Family back.

Okay, how pathetic am I??? But seriously folks...I can get like that when I'm done with a really good book. I get attached to the characters and go through a sort of withdrawl period. You should have seen me in the 8th grade after I finished reading The Outsiders....

Well, okay...I will admit that I really really really enjoyed reading those 4 books. I don't care that they were written for the younger crowd. I liked it. My favorite books were the first and last books. Then the third. And then the second one. I don't know....I thought the second one dragged a bit, and I was just dying for Edward to show up the entire time. But I can see now how the second one was necessary for the whole storyline, so it's all good.

Well now what?

I guess I'll start my new Jodi Picoult book that I just bought at Target yesterday "Change of Heart". Has anyone read that one yet? I'm going to get her new book "Handle With Care" just as soon as I can get it in paperback (at least I think that's the title of it). Target only had the hardcover and no way am I paying $19.95 for it.

Sorry I've been missing for a while, but I'm using my girls' laptops lately since my PC has a virus. I just check emails quickly and that's about it for the computer. I need to get my computer fixed but it's just not on the top of my priority list, believe it or not...since I have the laptops to default to. If I didn't have the laptops, the computer would have been fixed a long time ago!

I have an appointment on Thursday to get Aria's birth certificate done. Can you believe she is 7 months old and technically doesn't exist in the United States yet? I could change her name right now and no one would be the wiser, since it isn't even registered yet. Yep, technically she has no name. How weird is that. Now, with Andrew I procrastinated on getting his birth cert done and went past the year deadline and then had to go through the state to do it. What a pain that was. I'll never wait like that again. We JUST got his birth cert and SS# issued to us finally this last November! So he went two years and 4 months without being registered with the state -- no birth certificate -- nothing! I finally named him on paper when he was over two years old. Until then, he technically didn't exist. Yeah, I know....bad mommy. But all that time, don't worry...he was loved and being spoiled and taken care of. ( It's just a formality, people...don't jump on my case, I already admitted to procrastination already! Sheesh!) The one thing I do not like about having a home birth is having to go down to the county registrar to file for the birth certificate. It's just not my favorite thing to do.

But moving right along....

So Aria is 7 months old now. She's crawling everywhere and can even climb the stairs. No, of course I don't let her climb the stairs alone. Someone is always right behind her. She's getting pretty fast at it, too. She's a funny baby that way...always in a hurry to progress onto the next milestone. I just know she will be walking way before her first birthday. I wish she'd take it a little slower. I'm not ready for her to be walking around just yet!
